Scott Eastman is a commercial and fine art photographer and instructor based in Sibiu, Romania, in Transylvania. He earned a Masters of Fine Arts degree in photography from Washington University in St. Louis in 1994, where he was also an instructor of photography. He also received a bachelors degree in fine art and English literature from Willamette University in Oregon in 1991.

He was the official photographer for the European Capital of Culture in Sibiu, Romania in 2007, and coordinator and official photographer for the Sibiu International Theater Festival.
