I first ran across this product on THF (Texas Hunters Forum). I was interested in a similar type product after finding one DNAHoghunter made. For about $10.00 more I could get 3 transponders instead of 1. More importantly I had a receiver on me instead of on the unit itself. I ordered it on Sunday. Received the product 3 days later. (They are based in Dallas so no surprise on the delivery time). Went out last night to test it. I was thoroughly impressed. It works just as it says. Installation was a breeze. The only thing I was concerned about was the distance 500 feet. 2 of the units were about 100 yards out. Another was about 125 yards out. The cows passed by all 3 units which gave me an opportunity to test each one. I love this thing. I may order another set. It's perfect for my night time hunting needs. Hogs typically enter in at 4 different points on my property. They are never consistent. I usually hear them before seeing. I used to spend the entire night using my N.V. to spot and stalk for hours on end. Now I can just wait for my Hunter Alter System to go off. Then head that direction. If you are one who dozes off while hunting, this thing will def. wake you up. If you are supper A.D.D. like me this will let you play "Angry Birds," or "Words with Friends" while hunting and when the the light goes off or if you choose the buzzer go off through the ear bud, you can pick up your rifle, bow, crossbow, pistol, spear, etc... and get 'er done!!! Two thumbs up for the Hunter Alert System. Just a note I am not affiliated with the company what-so-ever. Any question's lemmie know!
