After a full day of deliberations with technical teams from both my Ministry and the Ministry of Energy, I have moved to reduce Excise tax on Kerosene by 30% and tax on diesel by 20%. We are still looking at other measures that will help ameliorate the situation and we will do anything within our means to assist.
