Having received requests for help in working out chord progressions for songs from a number of subscribers and friends, I decided to make an off-the- cuff tutorial to show how easy it is to work this out for yourself. I hope it will help people how to go about it. With practice and experience it becomes almost second nature to know when a chord change is required and to find the correct chord without thought, but we all have to start from the beginning, so here is how I worked out how and when to change chord in the song The Leaving of Liverpool.
