IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: 1. Before you jailbreak your device, please backup your device (using iTunes or iCloud,) just in case something goes wrong with the jailbreak process. There shouldn't be any issues, but it's always good to be safe. 2. Before you follow this video please disable your Passcode and Find My iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, if you have them enabled. You can disable your passcode in Settings/General/Passcode. To disable Find My iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad go into Settings/iCloud and disable it. 3. This jailbreak functions best if you updated/restored your device to the version that your device is currently on using iTunes on your computer, not in Settings/General/Software Update on your device (over-the-air). If you try to jailbreak your device and you updated it to the version that it is currently on over-the-air, you may experience a "boot-loop" (getting stuck at the Apple logo) mid-jailbreak. Because of this, if you updated your device to the iOS version that it is currently on over-the-air and want to jailbreak, I would tell you to backup your device and restore to iOS 6.1.X in iTunes. However, for most devices, this is no longer possible because iOS 6.1.X versions are no longer the latest versions of iOS for most devices. However, if you have an iPod touch 4th gen or iPhone 3GS on iOS 6.1.X there is another way to jailbreak your device, that allows you to jailbreak iOS 6.1.6, 6.1.5, and 6.1.3 Untethered even if you updated your device to the version that your device is currently on over-the-air. However, if you have a device other than the iPod touch 4th gen or iPhone 3GS, and you updated to the iOS version that your device is currently on over-the-air, and want to jailbreak, follow these steps: - Backup your device using iTunes or iCloud (as mentioned earlier) -Follow this video. The process may take longer on an over-the-air updated device, so just be patient. If you complete this video without getting stuck in a boot-loop, you have successfully jailbroken. If you experience the boot-loop issue due to your over-the-air update, you will unfortunately have to restore your device to the latest version of iOS. To do this, ensure you have iTunes installed on the computer you're using, and connect your device to the computer with iTunes open. Then hold the home and power buttons on your device for 10 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold the home button for 15 seconds. iTunes will then detect your device and allow you to restore it. After the restore, restore from your backup to get all of your data back. You may or may not be able to jailbreak now, it depends if the latest version of iOS is jailbreakable at the time you are reading this. However, this ensures you won't lose any data even if you experience the "boot-loop" issue. The issue won't necessarily happen, however it is possible, so just be sure to backup before trying to jailbreak an over-the-air updated device with p0sixspwn.
