This was made for the Detroit 48 Hour Film Festival last year. We were given a genre (Road Movie), a line of dialog ("It is what it is"), a prop (the lamp), and a character (Mr. Popular)
We shot for about 19 hours, edited for about 15, and wrote for about six. Sleep was not something on the schedule.
We won won award, for the music.
