BAY RIDGE - Brooklyn. A pedestrian was struck around 10 am Tuesday morning while she was walking on the crosswalk of Dahlgren Pl. According to an anonymous witness, the white van with an Asian male driver struck her as he was making a right turn going westbound on 86 St onto the northbound 86 st ramp towards the BQE. She was struck and dragged about 30-50 feet before he noticed she had hit her. Loud screams were heard when this occurred. Witness also believes she was transported in stable condition. NYPD Collision Investigation Squad was requested in regards to this incident. It’s unclear if the male Asian driver was arrested, but he was removed from the scene, possibly back to the 68 precinct for a statement.
