Norah Owaraga is the Managing Director of CPAR Uganda, a not-for-profit development organisation that is building healthy communities in the greater Northern Uganda www.cparuganda.com. She is the proprietor of Alinga Farms, a social enterprise which she established to advantage poor active farmers in her home district of Pallisa in eastern Uganda. She is a humanist blogger and a cultural anthropologist researching the association between the beliefs, attitudes and practices of her people, the Iteso of Uganda, and food insecurity. She is a Fellow of the African Leadership Initiative East Africa (ALI EA) and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN
