Sept. 27, 2012 - Janet St. James, WFAA Medical Reporter, shares details on a new strain of swine flu that has already infected hundreds of people. Because much of the illness has come from pigs, the Texas State Fair is requiring a health inspection for all pigs before they go on display.  Children's infectious disease specialist, Dr. Tess Barton says washing hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand gel is one way to minimize risk of catching flu.
