20 karatekas from all over the world came to New York, New York in September 2018 to participate in full-contact karate matches on the 102nd floor of The One World Trade Center. On the first day, the fighters came together and had a day of filming, training, good times, and getting prepared for their matches. Karate Combat was founded to elevate and promote the sport of karate worldwide by creating the first professional, full-contact league. The league consists of over 100 of the top Karateka in the world representing 30 countries.
