Why do I say this? Because it simply doesn't line up with the Word. Please hear what I have to say about this, life has become so stressful I try to make a point using what Jesus said, with some stress relieving comedy here and there. Life is too short to live life waiting for the world to end! Not only that but living that way is not Biblical! Sure it's fascinating to discuss Doomsday Apocalyptic Scenarios and watch it all unfold and see the Bible play out before our eyes but Jesus said He is coming like a THIEF in the Night! Thieves don't call you and say, "Hey I am coming to rob you on Dec. 21st 2012 before midnight!" They just show up when you least expect them and take you by surprise!

Jesus said the most profound thing and also what I feel is the most overlooked thing in Matthew 24. "Take HEED that NO MAN deceive you!" Deceive you about what? Well, what was the question they asked Him? Go read for yourself, it was the same question everyone on YouTube is creating scenarios , dates and theories about! The End of the World and the Rapture! 

It's just that on the Internet though, theories by "man". Don't be deceived by man! Instead go visit widows and orphans, go feed the homeless, go love the unlovable, go make a difference with the Gift of Life God has given you by sharing His Love and in doing so spreading His Message, a Message of HOPE, that He is Risen and He is preparing a Mansion for us for eternity!

I'm not saying don't be prepared, trust me I am more prepared than anyone on my block. I'm saying don't let "Prepping" and waiting for the end of the world become Bondage and an Obsession every day! Spend time with your family, your spouse, your friends and spend it in love!

We only get one human life and many people I know are already gone, I assure you that if they were given one more week here on Earth having seen the Afterlife they wouldn't spend every single day staring at the News and the USGS waiting for the next Earthquake. That's not only a waste of your life, it's not Biblical and goes contrary to what Jesus said! 

What will you do when it's Jan 1st 2013 when we all are still here and you predicted the end of the world to everyone while they all shout,  HAPPY NEW YEAR" and we are asked to  endure longer? Will you look back and say, "Wow, I sure wasted that year?" Then what will be next, He is coming in June 2013? It really leads the unbelievers away from God not closer to God as they continue to look for hope, see a MAN give a false date and it comes and goes. Isn't the Goal in life to LEAD people to the Lord, not away from Him? I tell you that today this message was heavy on my heart, the world is watching us Followers of Christ looking for hope, and we are acting more scare than they are and worried! Food for thought anyway.

I pray when Jesus comes he doesn't find me in a Doomsday Bunker with 10,000 rounds of Ammo and 200 cans of Chili (money that could have fed my entire street) but rather He finds me under a bridge giving an overheated and overlooked homeless man some water and a blanket That's what He said to do right? Let's go see what He said!
