The Yamaha Intermediate Concert Snare Drum is a chrome plated steel shell drum and the only intermediate snare drum design available on the market for the concert hall. Two sizes are available: CSS-1450A (14” x 5” drum) and the CSS-1465A (14 1/2” x 5” drum).

Other features of the Yamaha Intermediate Concert Snare Drum include a 3-piece tube lug system allowing the drum to resonate more freely, a Q-Type strainer for quiet activation and a 2.3 mm triple flange counter hoop that offers a clean fast attack. Both CSS models use a REMO coated Ambassador batter head and a clear Ambassador snare head with an included ring mute.
