Back in 2012 I visited a friend in Dallas and we went through the city for a day with our cameras. The XF300 was brand new for me and I was out having fun with it. After the trip I got the idea to create a modern day version of my parents' favorite show's intro, "Dallas". I dumped my footage, created my timeline, created and animated my title graphics, and then the unthinkable happened. TNT brought the show "Dallas" back! Literally a few weeks after I had my genius idea! I left my project and never finished it...until tonight. I was digging through my archives and I came upon this barely started, unfinished project. I decided to go ahead and cut the piece together. I didn't correct any of my old camera mistakes, I didn't color correct, I just cut the clips that were there. It was kinda fun seeing the piece cut together as if I had gone ahead and finished my idea two years ago.
