Chelsea took a first leg lead of 1-0 as they defeated Spanish Giant Barcelona in UEFA Champions League semifinal at Stamford Bridge. With the only goal of Didier Drogba, the English club clinched an important home victory against four time champion Barcelona. The Ivorian, described as a Trojan by his skipper John Terry, got his 11th goal of the season in first half stoppage time. Chelsea will now face Barcelona in second semifinal of the European competition at Nou Camp next week.
