Angel is a Cape Town Comedian, born in Durban and raised in Plett, Jozi, Somerset West and her grandparent's house. Given the name Angel at birth, she didn't have the career luxury of becoming a doctor or lawyer and found her options limited to becoming a stand-up comedian or stripper. After a few test runs in front of the mirror, she chose comedy as it made the neighbours boo less violently. Her comedy explores life through the eyes of a girl always branded that little bit more special (read: window licker) for having a unique name. As a new comedian she counts herself lucky to have performed on stages with some of SA comedy's heavyweights already. She performs regularly at Cape Town's well known clubs, has opened for one man shows, has performed on the festival circuit and toured up to perform in Johannesburg's top comedy venues.
