I'm working on reviewing the Sony a55 vs the Canon T3i and I'm really impressed with the Sony's auto focus via the translucent mirror technology! Check it out as I feed Layla the other day. I had the camera on my tripod with the focus on Layla's head are. The camera just tracks focus as it records. For reference I was using the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC lens.
