Today, Teacher Rachel will introduce a fun holiday lesson: April Fools' Day.

愚人节 (Yúrén jié) = April Fools' Day

愚人 (yúrén) = fool
节 (jié) = festival
________________________

Although April Fools' Day has gained some momentum in China, for the most part, pranks are kept to a minimum and relatively harmless.

恶作剧 (èzuòjù) = prank
整 (zhĕng) = trick

To describe playing a trick on someone, you can use: 

整 (zhĕng) + somebody's name
________________________

忽悠 (hūyou) = a verb, meaning to fool or pull someone's leg

It's a very humorous and authentic expression to use with friends!

When you've successfully pranked someone, you can say: 

愚人节快乐 (Yúrénjié kuàilè) = "April fools!"
快乐 (kuàilè) = happy
