Krunal Pandya probably had the worst start to the T20I series against Australia as he went for 55 runs in his quota of four overs, failing to get even one batsman out. He went on to bowl his four overs on the trot, during the course of which he was smashed all over the park by various batsmen. Especially in his third over, Glenn Maxwell smashed him for three consecutive sixes to churn out a total of 23 runs from the 14th over of the game. He was given another over after that in which he went for 17 runs. With the bat, he had a poor outing and was dismissed on a score of 2 off 4. In short, he had a forgettable outing in his first-ever match outside Indian soil. With the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) hosting the second game, there were hopes that Pandya might make way for Yuzvendra Chahal but Virat Kohli persisted with him, giving the all-rounder another chance. #HardikPandya #KrunalPandya #indvsaust20
