The Ruger Cordite is a beefy, hard-use, neck knife designed by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical. This robustly constructed fixed blade showcases Mr. Johnson's design paradigm very well: "The situations this person finds himself in should determine what this knife is used for...You can't carry everything you would like to carry; the knife will have to be able to complete a multitude of tasks." Well the Cordite is built from a beefy 0.185" thick piece of 8Cr14MoV that will handle all but the most extreme tasks. The modified drop point blade is hollow ground to increase the slicing performance of the blade without sacrificing overall strength.
