A serene start to a beautiful day in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. Cobalt blue skies give way to magenta over Mt. Baker in the NE sky. Birds call as the sky brightens. Blind island is a 2 acre park off the north end of Shaw Island, where "human powered" craft are the only ones legal to land for an overnight stop.
