Day 1 in NYC was amazing! Got to finally see the statue of liberty. I got a little hangry and was a bit bitter when seeing Ellis Island, although this happened, I'm grateful to have seen in considering that probably, if not my ancestors came through that port when they were allowed in 1953. A tid bit i learned while there, lol. Forever grateful to the many freedoms we have being Filipino-American citizens.
