Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain announced that Pakistan faced imminent threat from foreign forces and directed his followers and party workers of the MQM to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the army to defend the nation. He also said that the MQM may decide to rejoin the PPP in government to restore peace in Sindh.
