An adult male manatee who continues to receive care at SeaWorld® Orlando has been fitted with a specially designed wetsuit to assist with his buoyancy issues and help with surface breathing. SeaWorld® first began using wetsuits to assist with such buoyancy issues in the early 90's and remain extremely effective in the treatment and rehabilitation of manatees.
