Philadelphia Zoo Orangutan Tua During Exclusive Member's Preview (Video 1)

This video was recorded through glass in poor lighting, and not even up close to the glass.  The only way to adjust the brightness without making the colors garrish was to convert it to grayscale.

But I love the facial expressions and the attitude Tua is expressing during this exclusive members' only time to view her month-old baby.

Unlike at the press conference, during which she willingly went about her routine, allowing the press to get some good views of the baby, during this session, she kept the baby covered most of the time.

The Zoo always allows animals to behave as they choose to behave (unless it involves risks to their health, of course), even in cases like this when everyone was hoping Tua would be more obliging and show off her baby.  That is one of the wonderful things about my favorite Zoo.

Tua did finally get up and walk around with the baby a couple of times, and you can see one of those times in my video "Philadelphia Zoo Orangutan Tua During Exclusive Member's Preview Video 2".
