Came from a Wikiloops Jam 27970 with The Gigster, Ake the Snaker, and jmrukkers. This lyric initially grew out of me nearly getting killed by someone's unthinking stupidity. She wasn't meaning for anything bad to happen, just not thinking through actions and consequences which happened to impact me. How it ended up as a rant against us all and the damage we daily inflict on our shared planet I'm not sure, but it did. The world needs to seriously wake up to the consequences of continuing pollution, deforestation, overfarming and the rabid consumption and non replenishment of life sustaining natural resources. And all of this in the face of massive and exponential population growth. We and those who follow us are all royally screwed without this planet. Earth will not put up with much more abuse from us!
