[EDIT] I think I may have worked this out (literally a half hour post-upload). I've got ads appearing now, but I don't think I did this in a conventional way. We shall see! [/EDIT] So, in summary: I selected the "I don't have an AdSense account" option, created one away from the Youtube page, and now cannot move forward or backward from the AdSense account creation page on Youtube, leaving me currently unable to monetise my videos. I really don't want to have to call the U.S....
