Seattle Pike Place Market graffiti artist Mr. Dan's motto is 'Work Harder'. I was amazed that he was in the process of working on his 10,929th hand drawn hat, each of which takes about an hour to make. The handicrafts he makes and sells are graffiti inspired, and much of it is done on the spot in the market while he sells. Hand painted/drawn hats, shoes and paintings reflect 80's & 90's pop culture icons and NW landscapes and imagery. From Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix to Tupac and Snoop, Star Wars characters to dragons and trees.
