An incredibly rare cleaner for you this time, this is Rics Hoover Sensotronic system 1 thats just arrived from Germany as the slightly rude sticker suggests on the tool caddy lol The Sensotronic was Hoovers top of the line and largest cylinder in its 80s range. The System 1 being the most basic and the System 5 being the most elaborate model with a remote hose, variable power and an Electro-kinetic powerhead and various warning and indicator lights. All the Sensotronics were quiet, powerful and efficient cleaners but were slightly on the heavy side. the motors were incredibly large and robust, almost of commercial quality. The Sensotronic name referred to the warning light and sensor which warned of blockages. The fact that this one has beige tools and cable indicates it is a particularly early one as later on tools were brown or black. Although this ones from Germany, its identical to the UK version of the time. A great cylinder and one of my favourites
