Here is a look at where all that flood water ends up. This is the Mt. Morris Dam and it was put in the valley in the mid 1950's to control flood waters from ravaging communities beyond that point all the way to Rochester, New York. There is a pretty good amount of water behind this dam but nowhere near the levels that were held back in 1972 when Hurricane Agnes visited our area for a few days!
