The buff crested bustard is my favorite bird in the African Savanna section of the McNeil Avian Center. Every time I visit, I hope he will do his shrill, ear-piercing call. I have recorded it many times, but I still look forward to recording it again whenever I can. This time, though, he was getting ready for his nap while I was there. So, instead I recorded a cute video of him falling asleep.
