Ingredients (3 servings)

for the stuffing
6 slices brown bread. you can use white bread instead
2 medium sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
1 tsp grated ginger
2 chopped green chilies
2 tsp chopped hara dhania (cilantro)
1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala

for the batter
2-3 tbsp oil, for shallow frying
1 cup besan (gram flour)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1-2 tsp chopped hara dhania (cilantro)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup water
