Australian studio magician Matter returns to Stellar Fountain after climbing the prog house charts with his fantastic remix for Hoova & White Resonance's 'Disconnected'. Matter knows how to deal with the limelight, so he put the quality standards even higher with his latest own work, called 'Particle Cannon', where a deep edged atmosphere goes hand in hand with a progressive taste of the main melody giving an aural pleasure for all. The package contains two enthralling reworks by FunkForm and Progress Inn.The original track is a real ace, starting with sweet percussion elements and deep stabs, as we reach the point of breakdown a massive melody starts to appear from the filter, which surely grabs our attention. After the marching synth notes fading away, we turn back to the subtle atmosphere. We can use two, easy words on FunkForm's remix: it's a freakin' masterpiece! Maddy played a lot with the main melody, keep it in a continous alteration, dropping a catchy groove under it, and spiced it with impressive effects.Progress Inn kept the main flow of the original production, but with more club oriented drum & baseline layers. Also a huge thanks goes to Igor & Janko, as they are responsible for the mastering of the whole EP!
