I lost my little solar boat last week, sailed off into the distance or sank, I lost sight of it. I wanted to make another and looking through my solar power box I found this nice panel that I bought off eBay last year for a project that I never got round to so we now have a rather larger solar boat. Today the boating lake is available for testing so here we go.

Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap.
