Stolen Cougar Returned To Hickman Mills

Some bandits went to a lot of trouble to steal a mounted cougar mascot from Hickman Mills High School. Someone dropped the mascot off at the school loading dock Monday night. The cougar was in good condition, officials said. There was a $2,000 reward for the mascot's return, but apparently no one is claiming it. Some think the theft was a prank, but the incident remains a police investigation.
