California Drought Challenges Farm Economy

Even with recent rains, California faces its third consecutive year of drought. And UC Davis economist Richard Howitt is forecasting hard times for farmers. He predicts many irrigated pastures may disappear, more fruits and nuts will be grown and farmers may have to sell  their water rights to others.
