You might associate RiNo’s Crush Walls art festival with spray paint, but there’s one installation there that could literally crush the walls … if it weren’t made out of yarn, that is. Tina the many-eyed and many-toothed scaly beast is the brainchild of Jesse Dawson, Jessica Eaton, Lauren Seip and Tymla Welch. The quartet of artists known as the Ladies Fancywork Society spent Thursday morning putting the finishing touches on the crocheted monster, which is one of several crocheted small, guerrilla installations around Denver.
