Diet: Fruits, seeds, flowers, nectar, Jerivá Palm (Syagrus romanzoffiana) nuts, and termites. Geographic Distribution: Found throughout much of Brazil, except for some states in the North, Northeast, and Southeast regions. It also occurs in parts of Bolivia, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Peru. It also occurs in North America (Miami, Florida, and Los Angeles and San Francisco, California).
