BAY RIDGE, Brooklyn - A cyclist was critically struck at 72 st and Ridge Blvd at 9:47 am Thursday morning by an SUV who remained on scene. As per witness, the 63 year old female driver was seen with blood around her mouth. The cyclist was a 29-year-old black male that appeared unconscious and unresponsive on the scene. Both were transported to Lutheran Hospital. NYPD CIS on scene investigating. Video shows scene with NYPD CIS investigating as well as an interview with a resident commenting on the behavior of drivers and cyclists in Bay Ridge.
