If the exorbitant price of food and water distastes your movie plan, here is a good news for you. Bombay High Court has opined that the price list inside the multiplexes should be at the regular rate.
A division bench of justices S M Kemkar and M S Karnik was hearing a PIL challenging the prohibition on carrying outside food inside movie theatres and multiplexes across the state.
Agreeing to this, Justice Kemkar said that the price of food and water bottles sold inside movie theatres are, indeed, exorbitant.
However, the Maharashtra government told the court that it would soon frame a policy on the issue.
