Have a listen to this new podcast interview with “DANCEFLOOR THUNDERSTORM” author/publisher Michael Tullberg! This is a nice, short piece put together very adroitly by GiveABeat.org’s Mick Jacobs, who also provides the commentary. Michael and Mick go into detail about the book, and how the rave scene influenced American pop culture in its own very D-I-Y way. A stimulating conversation that will open up some eyes about this musical movement.

“DANCEFLOOR THUNDERSTORM: Land Of The Free, Home Of The Rave” is the electrifying visual history of the U.S. rave scene. With hundreds of pyrotechnic photographs and insightful interviews by rave photojournalist Michael Tullberg, it transports the reader back to the days when the underground phenomenon known as electronic music conquered American dance floors, and changed modern entertainment forever.
