Aerodrone circa January 2007. This is a brief video taken from a conversation of mostly Gary Zon, Shawn Kilmer and myself about the Dismantled song "the Blind". I asked Gary what the voice in the background of "the Blind" was sampled from. I thought it was from a movie or something, but much to my surprise it was the guy standing right next to me at the moment, Shawn Kilmer (the skinny one with the scarf) reciting some abstract line that was all mashed and skewed in the song. I finally got to find out, more or less, what that voice was saying! "We bring the noise, we bring the motion" or whatever.... Yea it was pretty cool getting to pick Dismantled's brain about his music and music in general. Interestingly enough, I never really took note until after this happened that Shawn Kilmer is credited in the "Breed to Death" liner notes....In any event, it was interesting to hear Kevin Patrick chime in about the music. The way he talked it was like "Breed to Death"--that highly esteemed ebm classic--was just some project his friends threw together for fun a while back.... huh. If you listen close you hear Kevin start to say something about 9/11 at the very end. ROFLOLZ
