Got out early while it was sprinkling and cast netted some nice size finger mullet. Went straight to the jetty tip on outgoing tide and somewhat strong Westerly winds. Actually caught 2 Reds but one was just 1/2" too long and had to release it. Felt bad because when I put him back in the water, he stayed belly up. Hope he revived. No video of the one too big. But, then a keeper came along and made it in the cooler. The Mangroves were VERY hungry too and I could not keep a mullet down but for a couple minutes before it was stolen. Got a limit of Mangroves by 10:30 and headed in. Gave 2 to an older gentleman fishing from shore.
