Music and Lyrics by Björn Jakobsson Recorded at Ealsden Digital Studio Skärholmen June 2015 – March 2016 © 2016 Treplektra produktion They tell you what you want to hear They tell you what you want to hear They pour honey in your delicate ear and they tell you what you want to hear They serve you more than you can chew You should not let poets lie to you They paint a landscape in your mind They paint a landscape in your mind Maybe they think that you are blind when they paint a landscape in your mind They tell you that the sky is blue You should not let poets lie to you They tell you what you already see They tell you what you already see They'll say that they'll make you free when they tell you what you already see They fool you, I promise, they do Thou should not let poets lie to you So never listen to their advice Never listen to their advice because it will never lead to anything nice if you listen to their advice You should not let poets lie to you apart from me of course, too-de-loo!
