Charles Berryman (Ngati Awa) has led a fascinating life.  He was a whangai to the Berryman whanau and raised by one of his kuia.  An eloquent speaker of te reo Maori ,his career has included editing te reo Maori books,  General Manager Reo & Tikanga at Maori Television,  Manukau City cultural advisor, lecturer and teacher and presently Iwi Liaison at Auckland International Airport.
