I suspect a combination of heavy, wet snow and wind caused the top of this tree to fall off (out of frame to right is the top of the tree); it had no other branches so I cut it down. I used some ropes secured to the base of another tree and a come-along winch to pull it in the direction I wanted it to fall. The real time of the video was 33.2 minutes - pictures were taken every 2 seconds (999 total pictures) and the video was composed using 4 pictures per frame per second, using ffmpeg.
