Shavez will share his journey to preserve the animal wildlife, using Brunei's ecosystem as an example, in hopes to inspire young people to join the cause to voice out for the voiceless. Here he will share painful truths about illegal poaching and their irrevocable damage they could do the ecosystem if they are not stopped. To do this requires two basic things: Education and Enforcement. Shavez will explain more. Shavez Cheema is a third-year student at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). He is currently taking Anthropology, however, wildlife is his personal love and hobby. Also, he likes to play squash and do drama. Formerly, he was in Maktab Duli PMAMB and St. Andrew’s School before university. His parents are working in Brunei with his father being a local businessman while his mother works at the Prime Minister’s Office of Brunei Darussalam. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
