In this episode we rewire an old 1920's Crescent Cast Iron 18" disc sander that I scored at an auction for really cheap. We added a 3HP Harbor Freight 220V motor and dropped the pulley size on the motor to get the RPM range correct for the sander. We also rewired the old switch box to work with the new motor.
