Held a subscriber get-together on 9/2 and met and fished with some great folks.  Thank you all for coming.  Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you all.  Hope to do it again soon.

For those new to surf fishing, you can catch surf perch (redails) year round here on the Oregon coast.  For bait, Gulp sandworms work best (link: https://amzn.to/2wMsO5v).  For the bottom rig, I use a Hi-Lo rig to catch these fish, and a 2 oz weight.
