In Malaysia 138 couples tied the knot in a mass wedding ceremony on Valentine's Day, which is also known as Chinese Valentine's Day among the ethnic Chinese community in Malaysia. In Kuala Lumpur's Thean Hou Temple, ethnic Chinese couples received blessings in a traditional Buddhist wedding ceremony. For the couples, the once in a 19 years event is an extraordinary occasion, and a memorable day that they will remember. "Today is a very memorable day as the Western and Chinese Valentine's Day fall on the same day, we will remember this day forever," said Khoo Wei Kang who wedded his three-year girlfriend. The three-hour ceremony was completed with couples signing wedding certificates. Report by Genelle Aldred.
