I'm hoping off the Diablo 4 hype train, and onto the Diablo Immortal hate train. Blizzard royally screwed the pooch on this one. But it didn't have to go this way! A Diablo mobile title isn't inherently awful.

Reaction to Diablo Immortal mobile is worse than Blizzard ever could have expected. But I think they can only blame themselves for this one. When looking at the Blizzcon 2018 lead up to, the Diablo Immortal announcement, and the fan backlash - what went wrong, and how could they have done better?

The Diablo Immortal release is ill-timed. The fans were going to hate this one, and they deserve the fallout. Are Diablo eternal flames now extinguished?
